The Residenza Ripetta, a marvelous architectural complex nestled between Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna, was built in 1600 to house a convent. Over the centuries it was enlarged, mainly thanks to the intervention of Pope Innocent XI, always maintaining its austere splendor. From 1672 it became the Conservatory of Divine Providence, a place of shelter for poor and orphaned maidens, rescued, thus, from ill fortune. Today we collect the legacy of these spaces, helping to transform them into something new, without ever losing touch with history.
